Description

BOSTIK SOFT PLASTICS is a strong, water resistant, clear adhesive designed for bonding most common soft plastics. It bonds rapidly to form a strong, water resistant seal.

APPLICATIONS

BOSTIK SOFT PLASTICS is suitable for bonding flexible PVC, polyurethane, natural and sulfochlorinated rubbers. Typical applications include repairing inflatable, plastic raincoats, tents and waders.
IMPORTANT: If using soft plastics adhesive on rubber products, lightly roughen the surface to be repaired Äì use a fine grade of sandpaper.Not suitable for silicone, EPDM or similar rubbers. BOSTIK SOFT PLASTICS is not suitable for polyolefins e.g. polythene.

Instructions for use

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Ensure that the surfaces to be bonded are clean and dry
If required use a piece of the PVC patch provided
Spread an even film of adhesive onto both surfaces
Leave until almost dry (about 5 -10 minutes)
Press both surfaces together firmly until bonded
Replace cap after use, to prevent the adhesive becoming unusable
Maximum bond strength is developed after about 24 hours
