MINOS FIRE COAT is premium quality, durable, high temperature paint suitable for temperatures up to 6500C. It is ideal for protection, renovation and repair applications. Dries fast and provides an excellent durable finish that will not burn, chip or flake. It is suitable for engine and exhaust – system parts, oven pipes, chimneys, barbeques and DIY projects around the house.

Surface preparation
The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease. Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface.
Application
- Before use, stir paint thoroughly.
- Apply paint with a brush or roller or spray in a thin layer. Allow drying for 1 hour.
- If needed a second layer may be applied. Then surface should be heated for 30 – 60 minutes at 160oC to cure the paint.
The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity of the air and the thickness of the layer applied.
