Multi purpose, fast drying, hard wearing anti – corrosive primer
MINOS UNIVERSAL PRIMER is a premium grade, fast drying, hard wearing general use primer. Offers rust protection to metal surfaces. Fills imperfections of the substrate and improves adhesion and appearance of topcoat ensuring long-lasting durability of the painting. It is suitable for most surfaces and is compatible with most final coatings (alkyd, nitro, acrylic etc)

APPLICATIONS
- Ideal to prime surfaces to ensure a perfect finish and a long lasting corrosion protection. It is suitable for iron, glass, steel, stone, terracotta, wood etc.

Surface preparation
- The surface should be clean, dry and free of grease.
- Remove loose old lacquer and rust and sand the surface.
Application
- Before use, shake the aerosol for 2 minutes and spray a sample.
- Mask areas that you don’t want to be painted.
- Spray the primer quickly and evenly in several thin coats from a distance of 25-30cm, spraying the can from side to side and moving slowly upwards or downwards.
- Shake the can regularly for 10 seconds during spraying.
- In most cases spray several thin coats.
- Leave to dry. Touch dry usually 10 -15 minutes at 20oC.
- Proceed with top coat when primed surface is completely dry.
The drying time depends on the ambient temperature, the humidity of the air and the thickness of the layer applied.
