Paper and bookbinding PVA adhesive
PL BOOK is a high quality thermoplastic adhesive, based on a water soluble PVAC dispersion, specially formulated for paper and bookbinding. When dry it gives a very strong and elastic bond. It has a high viscosity, does not shrink and dries transparent.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- All surfaces must be dry and clean from dust and grease and fit closely together.
- Stir adhesive thoroughly before use
- Apply an even film of adhesive using a brush or roller. If needed the adhesive can be thinned up to 10% with water
- Bring the two surfaces together and apply light pressure until adhesion is achieved.
- Initial bonding (for paper) almost immediate. Final bonding from 1 – 3 hours depending on ambient humidity and temperature.
- For paper and fabric starching PL BOOK must be thinned 60% – 80% with water.
It is advisable to perform a suitability test prior to full scale application
REMARKS
- Ideal application temperature: 18oC – 20oC
- Do not use below 12oC and relative humidity >60%
- Significant irregularities reduce the contact surface and therefore will lead to unsatisfactory bonding results.
