WATER BLOCK M22 is clear silane water and oil repellent designed to protect a variety of surfaces without altering their natural appearance. It is ideal for marble and granite surfaces as well as natural and artificial stones, tile joints and porous ceramic tiles (cotto), decorative bricks etc. It exhibits excellent penetration ability and allows surface breathing. Provides excellent protection against natureÄôs destructive forces, staining from oils and household dirt. Provides a long lasting, breathable barrier which exhibits superior resistance to water, oils, stains, moisture intrusion, airborne dust, salt, acid rain, alkali, frost and high temperatures.

APPLICATIONS
- Waterproofing and protection from staining, and frequent use of unpolished marble and granite surfaces. It is most suitable for interior and exterior horizontal surfaces. For colored marble we suggest a compatibility test.
- Waterproofing and long lasting protection from staining of natural and artificial stone surfaces. It is most suitable for horizontal surfaces such as verandas, garden stone patios etc.
- Waterproofing and long lasting protection from staining of tile joints and porous ceramic tiles (terracotta)
- Waterproofing and protection of decorative bricks
- Waterproofing concrete building surfaces
- Surfaces treated with WATER BLOCK M22 can be easily cleaned from spots and stains with clean water.

Substrate preparation
- Surfaces must be dry and clean from dust, unstable material, oil and rust.
- New marble and granite surfaces must be cleaned with wet sponge prior to application.
- Old unpolished stained marbles must be cleaned with marble cleaner OXY CLEAN CL 22 prior to application.
- Old stained stone surfaces must be cleaned with OXY CLEAN CL 17 prior to application. Pressure clean wide stone surfaces if needed to remove dirt and use OXY CLEAN CL 17 for stagnant stains.
- Tile joints
New tile joints: allow 7 Äì 10 days after grouting before applying WATER BLOCK M22. Clean new joints with wet sponge and allow drying out completely.
Old tile joints: remove old stains and dirt with OXY CLEAN CL 17. Wash thoroughly with water and allow drying out completely. Hairline grout cracks may be waterproofed with WATER BLOCK M22. Fill bigger cracks with CERAFIX AND GROUT.
6. Surfaces must be completely dry prior to application.
7. Painted surfaces that might be affected from solvents such as sealants, bitumen materials, polystyrene, must be protected prior to application.
Application
- Stir material thoroughly before and during application.
- WATER BLOCK M22 can be applied with a brush, roller or spray gun (for vertical surfaces). Special attention must be given for even application.
- When applied on very porous substrates a second coat is recommended. The second coat must be applied wet on wet.
- Windows, doors, plants etc must be carefully covered prior to application.
- WATER BLOCK M22 when dry is not harmful for humans and the environment.
REMARKS
A compatibility test is recommended in an inconspicuous spot prior to full scale application of WATER BLOCK M22 especially for granites and marble due to the wide range of types and quality provided in the market.
